I recently jailbroke my phone but when into the core files to delete some of the preloaded wallpapers to add my own i improperly disconnected from ifunbox and when the phone did not power up, so i went into restore mode to restore everything so i can jailbreak again it wouldnt work...i tried using redsnow and blackrain after both processes the phone returned to the insert sim/emergency calls only screen...can anyone help??

Do a DFU restore.
Then try using redsnow again.
There's no need to remove any of the stock wallpapers and beeing so anal about them.

i did the restore and when i tried to use redsnow i went through all the processes and still went back to the original screen before activation
