Jailbreak iPad = slower iPad?

Does jailbreaking your iPad slow it down at all? My iPad has been running REALLY slow lately... Just wondering if the jailbreak could be causing it.. Thanks.

I don't believe so

Some people notice a bit of a screen-rotation lag, like half a second to a second, but in general it doesn't run any slower.

I think it does if you heavily theme it using winterboard or the like. Also yes the rotation lag is obvious but not too big a deal.
