Hi all,

I'm new to jailbreaking and looking for some help/advice?

I have an iPhone 6 with ios 8.3. I have to stay on this to be able to jailbreak correct? And what is the best way to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you cannot update if you want to jailbreak.

The only version you can upgrade to right now is either 9.3.5 (time is running out) or 10.x. Neither of those versions have a jailbreak.

The best way is to use an already existing jailbreak. Creating your own requires a lot of coding and technical knowledge.

Try the Taig jailbreak.

Download here.

Thank you both for the information and help. I was able to jaibreak last night. Only issue I had was with the Apple driver error message with Tiag, but found the resolution for installing the 64-bit driver.

Thank again.
