jailbreak ipod touch?

i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to jailbreak my 2nd gen ipod touch. its 2.2.1. and im using a hackintosh with 10.5.6 if that matters.

Upgrade it! Or use ziphone? Or was it Redsn0w? So many that they all seem the same.

i would upgrade it but i dont have the money plus i owe itunes like 20 bucks so it would cost even more plus i have to save up 360 dollars so i can get a droid next month. if only apple would come to verizon and it would be an iphone. if only if only. im 14 so thats why the money is such a big deal.

Restore to it. HOld shift(option key on mac) and find it on your drive

shift click restore in itunes, point it at the file you downloaded from the link earlier, let it restore.

i tried the shift thing and i went through all the files and it didnt work. now im using quikfreedom and it seems like it might work.

i went ahead and bought 3.1.3 and am installing it now. im gonna use spirit.

i installed spirit and it has been just sitting at the part where there is supposed to be a progress bar for like 5 minutes. its got a little spinning wheel. help please?

reboot it then run it again, if it still crashes, see if itunes will reconise it as your ipod (not a ipod in recovery mode) if it dose run sprit again
