Intell macrumors P6 Oct 30, 2011 #4 Use greenp0ision to jailbreak it. FakeClockup gives a good speed boost. There are a few custom things that need to be done to increase the battery life. And try new things via Cydia.

B BlizzardBolt macrumors 6502 Oct 30, 2011 #5 iPod touch 2G 8GB IS NOT compatible with iOS5. It only goes up to 4.2.1 if my memory is correct.
