Jailbreak not working for me

Hi all I have an iPhone 4, I updated it today to iOS5 then used redsnow, it installs cydia but it's just a white icon and just flashes when I click on the icon so it doesn't load up, any ideas?

you need to run Redsn0w again and "just boot tethered"

Like the other said. Currently, there is only tethered jailbreak on OS5. So, that the reason you have black cydia icon.

Make sure you understand what the different between tethered vs untethered jailbreak. Your phone might not be usable if you don't have your computer near by when the phone is rebooting.

jailbreakme is for iOS 4.3.3 not 5.0 the exploit was fixed with the release of 4.3.4

If your on a teathered jailbreak and you have to reboot or the phone goes into safe mode what is disabled on your phone until you boot teathered? Is it just the jailbreak that doesn't work or all the phones functions?
