on Monday iOS 8.4 has to be released because that's the launch date of apples new streaming service

Should I jail break now or wait to see if iOS 8.4 us jail breakable?

It's a huge pain and a time consuming task to upgrade iOS if your jailbroken, which is why I am only going to update the firmware on my phone and not my iPad and iPad mini

agreed but i also want to use apple music.
I hope apple wont find and fix one of the exploits before tuesday.

I'd like to see a tweak that let's you use Apple Music without a subscription. Granted it's pirating which is frowned upon here and is safe to talk about a non-existent tweak. But I installed the tweak that gives unlimited iTunes radio skips so something similar will probably come out.

No, its not gonna be that easy probaly. Apple music is highly likely protected with DRM so you can only play it on the devices where you can access the service. You cant copy music.

I've been out of the loop for awhile. What is Apple music? Will I still be able to stream apple radio for free like I am now? TIA

I have been jailbreaking every version that's been available but I'm gonna sit out on this one since I have a watch and want apple music. Stock 8.3 hasn't been that bad though. I just miss faster web scrolling and faster animation.

Currently I'm jailbroken on 8.1 so I'm also waiting to see if 8.4 will still be jailbreakable. My plan is to update to 8.3 on the 28th or 29th and stay stock for a couple of days until we can get a confirmed answer on whether the final 8.4 release can be jailbroken. If it can't, I'm already on 8.3. If it can, I'll update then jailbreak.

Usally apple pushes out jailbreak fixes like weeks after jailbreak release. I hope they are not pushing resources and then we should be save. Im doing the same as you for now.

I couldn't wait my phone and iPad felt a bit buggy safari hanging up, wifi dropping at times on 8.1 so I said what the hell I'll do it. I only have a bout 10 tweaks so it was easy.

I'll be waiting for 8.4 and see if it can be jailbroken. I don't really plan on getting a watch, and apple radio isn't a draw for me either, so no real rush, nothing that is too exciting. And when ios 9 comes out in fall, i'll probably get the new plus device anyways, so i'll just pass my current one down to one of the kids, which they won't care if it's on 8.1, 8.3, 8.4 or whatever.

I'm on 8.3 jail-broken. Been waiting for months for the jailbreak. It was easy enough to do. If the jailbreak works on 8.4 I will upgrade and break again. Pretty easy for me to restore a phone to factory and move forward.

Im still on 8.1 JB.
I dont see the big improvements or the need to go up to 8.3
I dont have an iwatch and dont plan on getting one either and everything works perfect with my JB 6 Plus.
Maybe when 8.4 is out soon and that can be JB i'll make the jump but currently many hacks are not yet compatible with the new iOS and JB.

This is exactly where I am at. Other than the tiny bit of lag with my 6plus, everything is pretty much perfect in regards to the jailbreak on 8.1. I have all my favorite (some new, some old) apps and tweaks working (social duplicator being the single thing i need to make my phone perfect) smoothly, and really enjoying the ios8 jailbreak more than any previous ones. For people that keep saying that jailbreaking is no longer needed or dying, I say it only keeps getting better and more fun with each ios that apple releases.

That all being said, if 8.4 updates most tweaks, like 8.3 seems to be slowly doing, then I will jump on it because who knows, apple radio may actually be interesting. And if the rumors about 100k songs in ios9 being able to be uploaded (and i have unlimited data) then it may be worth an upgrade then too.
