I jailbroken my phone a little while ago, all the free apps I can update, but when for example if I update bike race, it says I can't update it because I do not have the major version of the software
I have IOS6.1.2 so I'm not sure if it is the IOS problem or the jailbreak problem. I am not an expert on electronics so please help me

Ugh.

You illegally downloaded an app and wonder why it won't let you update?

Nobody answer his question.
The message he is receiving does not necessarily mean he is using illegally downloaded apps.

To answer your question OP, if you have obtained the apps legally then maybe you can try what was suggested in this thread on the Apple support forums. It deals with that exact error message.

You're right, it's not guaranteed but when someone mentions a jailbreak and an app not updating, they usually didn't pay for it.
