    Cydget!

Cydget is getting extremely popular right now with all the home screen widget designers. They were frustrated by the limited power of winterboard (because winter board was never designed for that use lol) and it's blowing up right now. Saurik is not only pushing powerful updates, but he's working directly with the designers in improving cydget. There's a great thread on reddit right now regarding this topic. There is so really cool stuff in the pipeline. JunesGraphic just released a really cool looking and powerful cydget. The great thing about cydget is that it directly hooks into the Apple lockscreen functions, particularly the notification center function. It's actually quite a fascinating read at reddit. I suggest you check it out and try some of the newer cydgets that are coming out. I can prolly find a link to the thread if you don't see it but it should be right at the top on the jailbreak reddit. Let me know if you have any questions.
