Jailbreak/unlock 3Gs 4.0.2?

Hello,
My friend has an old(ish) iPhone 3Gs and he wants to know if I could jailbreak it and unlock it for him. It is running 4.0.2 firmware. Is this doable?

You should connect it to Tinyumbrella and grab his 4.2.1 shsh blobs asap before Apple stops signing them.

Then you can create a custom 4.2.1 ipsw with pwnage tool that maintains his unlockable baseband.
Then install ultrasnow from cydia to unlock.
