Jailbreak/unlock on 3.1.3

i was wondering if you guys/gals can help me out. im a bit of a noob at this stuff. im wondering how i can jailbreak and unlock my iphone 3g 16gb running on 3.1.3. is there maybe some tutorial online i can easily follow to do so? thank you for your help in advance, i know these types of questions are asked a million times a day 🙁
