There's no fix for that issue..it's not specific to the most recent update, that's how it always is. There is always a greater possibility of an error if you've updated your software OTA.
For that reason, it's always recommend to update via iTunes each time there is an iOS update, if you plan on jailbreaking.
Either restore your phone in iTunes, or wait until 7.1 is released and upgrade to that through iTunes. I wouldn't wait, though, as there's no guarantee 7.1 will be jailbreakable.
Thanks guys... the only reason i need to jailbreak is to be able to record (video) of a app demo on my screen... not sure if it is worth all of this hassle, thanks for your help
