The only option is greenpoison, no other tool currently JB's the 4.2.6 cdma iphone.
Try it again, it works.

PwnageTool has no problem working with 4.2.6 firmware...................

Try again with gp, it works. Maybe try turning your phone off first?

You can restore it back to the factory setting if you don't like it. On the other question, I think you should do more google searching and decide for yourself. Each of us have different reason to jailbreak the iphone.
