Jailbreak your iphone 3g + Apps Store

Stupid question I guess but if I buy an iphone 3G tomorrow and I jailbreak it, will I have access to the apps store and be able to buy applications ?

just remember there is no unlock yet for the 3G, and once you jailbreak, there's little in the way of interesting apps available for the 2.0 software, unless you're a developer. Might wanna hold off and save the hassle.
