iPod touch Jailbreak?

I got the newest ipod touch this Xmas. Is there a jailbreak? It is brand new. In Canada if this makes a difference. Not sure what operating system it is running. Sorry, I am new to the forum. I don't want to kill my ipod.

Search before you post! mroogle. Theres tons of threads on this already, but your ipod is probably running 4.2.1 which I think is still tethered i might be wrong though. If it is still tethered you might want to wait a bit for the untethered.

yes but itz tethered so whenever you shut it down or it runs out of battery you have to re-jailbreak.
