I've just jailbroken my iPod touch, and while I'm enjoying the benefits now, I'm slightly worried about the future. When a new software update comes out (3.1, for example), will I have to restore back to the original 3.0 firmware?
If so, is there any way that I can back up "legitimate" app data? I don't want to be half through a game, and then have to start it again in order to update my software. Is there a workaround for this?
