Is it just me,but it seems less important to jb an IPad compared to an IPhone?I find when I upgrade my IOS and go a while without a jb I really miss it on my phone but I don't really miss it as much on the iPad.

My jailbroken ipad (3rd generation) enabled me to do some customization I really liked but also came with some changes I didn't. The safari tweaks (more gestures, adblock etc.) seemed to come at the cost of loosing the buttery smooth scrolling while web browsing. Safari hung more, was wonky and overall just wasn't as fun to use while Jailbroken for me. I'm now on IOS6 and prefer the overall experience. I'm sure there are others with more skills than me who can work around or just live with these issues, I enjoyed experimenting with jailbreaking, but it's just not for me for the long haul.

I guess it depends on why you jailbreak and how you use it. My iPad 3 (iOS 5.1.1) is currently jailbroken and I don't experience any hangups or anything. Mostly because I only download a few small tweaks like having the folders close automatically after launching an app or having the keyboard show the current case of the letters when I'm typing. Nothing too extravagant, just little things to make my experience a little better.
