Jailbreaking iPhone 7 to run iOS 16

Is this possible or has this been possible in the past to install iOS on unsupported iPhones via jailbreak?

I have a severe disability so I don’t need a new iPhone as I don’t use it but without iOS 16 I cannot update my Apple Watch 4 which I actually use for heart rate monitoring. It is very frustrating that the watch cannot be updated without a newer phone and that the iPhone 7 has been locked out of updates! 🙁
