Jailbreaking makes my phone buggy?

Hey guys,

After jailbreaking, my phone has gotten noticeably more buggy. There's nothing specific, just everything is a lot slower and laggy, blank screens while opening apps, etc, that doesn't happen when my phone is non-jailbroken.

Is this normal? If there's no way to change this, I'll go back to unjailbroken.
