Hey guys, I'm new on this forums, and I hope you can help me. This is my first time jailbreaking and unlocking an Iphone, and everytime I restore it on Itunes it says that uncommon error was found (22). What should I do? /:

I believe Error 22 is death. Let me check my Error list.

Edit - Yes apparently it means some sort of Fatal error due to hardware failure. I am not 100% sure because according to my records, you are third person with this error here on MR. That means I don't have enough reports of it to make it 100% certain.

Most errors in 20s have something to with a hardware failure.

Not quite. I have come down to conclusions on Errors 2x. For instance, Error 26/28 is very likely USB hardware failure. Error 21/27 is internal chipset fatal error. Error 25 is some random error I haven't quite figured out and Error 22 I still also haven't figured out, but so far it points to baseband failure... so far. Error 28 is the worst, it means insta-brick. So far 4 cases of it and all with the 1st Gen iPhone.

I haven't seen the rest of Errors to make other conclusions. I also know of the Error in the 1400s, 1500s, 1600s and 10s. Error 30, one documented case also ended up in brick mode; it was a 1st Gen I had.

It might mean you may well have a brick in your hands. Give restoring it thru stock firmware a try.

Restoring through stock firmware?
is there a guide or something? sorry I'm really new here :3

I will wait then. Thanks :3
But, will it fix the problem when I try to jailbreak it again?
