I have a 3G iPhone with firmware 3.1 which I installed using 'Shift/Restore' on my Windows 7 PC.

Can I use my original "Bondi Blue" iMac G3 (1998) running OSX 3.3 to Jailbreak firmware 3.1 & then use my PC Windows 7 with iTunes exclusively from then on?

Or once you jailbreak with a MAC do you have to use a MAC with iTunes for everything from that point forward?

Also, I have an AT&T branded account & I dont see changing that anytime in the near future & would probably get a newer iPhone or another Phone altogether by the time my contract expires.

Any other reasons besides a potential inability to 'unlock' the iphone for not using a Windows guide/program to jailbreak Firmware 3.1?

You can jailbreak it on any machine you want. And the first time you plug it into the computer and iTunes of your choice it can be set up there.
