jailbreakme.com not working?

Hi,
I am trying to jailbreak an iPod touch running iOS 4.0 via jailbreakme.com. I can get the 'slide to jailbreak' screen, but after I slide the arrow, I get stuck at the purple space screen with no 'downloading' pop-up. The first two model no's are MC. Is this a problem? It is an iPod touch 2G 8GB. (Quite new)
