Jailbroken battery life

How great is the effect of jailbreaking an iPad WiFi 32GB? I'm not going to install SBSettings or Backgrounder or any other MobileSubstrate things, I literally just want a couple of things like Poof - will this have any effect on battery?

Jailbroken mine, just have sbsettings and full force on at the moment and I'm getting over 10 hours of battery
