Hey guys I was wondering does anyone know how I can view my seagate wireless plus hard drive using ifile instead of the media app from seagate so I can copy files from it to my iPad Air?

I know you can buy a lightning to usb camera connection and a unpowered usb hub to connect a flash drive or hard drive and view it through ifile but being that mines is a wireless one how can I view it? It doesn't show on the sidebar

What do you put in your Seagate Wireless Plus? I put those movies and I used Seagate app to watch movies. If they are all documents I would put them in the iCloud like DropBox/Box app. :apple:

I'm using it as extra storage for my drum sounds and my samples I use for making beats and I have folders of drum sounds that I would sometimes need to transfer between the two and to do the sounds without the folders would be way to much work to get them on the ipad I would have to go into each folder to download the sounds in them then try to organize them and make new folders for them on the ipad and then transfer them into the app I use

I would love to be able to do what the OP is asking.
I also have a seagate wireless plus.

Being able to use filza or ifile (both cydia apps) to transfer files back and forth from a jb iphone would be great.

ok: no real answer here.

Has anybody experienced if a wireless hard drive gets connected with ifile?

Ive tried with my seagate wireless plus and with the sandisk wireless usb.
With no luck, its just easier to do the lightning to usb adapter and a flash drive. Or use my surface pro 3
