I just got this 4s.

I tried a few different sim cards and it accepted it.

How can know what software was used to jailbreak it?

When I click cydia, It does not show the regular cydia options such as packages or sources. It shows 20% of 64GB capacity.

I am thinking that something has gone wrong during jailbreak. Is it ok to jailbreak it again using evasi0n?

Please advise.

Thanks.

EDIT: How can I know if it's a permanent unlock or software unlocked? Do I need to preserve the modem firmware 1.0.13?

If there's a gevey sim adapter inside the sim tray is not a permanent unlock.
If there's nothing in the sim tray and it accepts any gsm sim its forever unlocked.

If the 4S is on 5.1.1. You cannot use Evasi0n on it. You will have to use one of the other tools, preferably the one that was originally used to jailbreak it.
