if so, what if my jailbroken iphone is formatted for a pc? & I am on a mac? or vice versa?

how do I hook it up to my computer with itunes for the 1st time without losing the jailbreak?

I don think they are formatted for Mac or pc
My phone connects to both without any problem.

U don't loose jailbreak when u connect to iTunes. But u would if u click on update in iTunes so do not update.
