    Hi - i need help!

im getting a new 3G tomorrow, and want to use my old iphone as an ipod untill i figure out what i want to do with it. No i jailbroke it using ziphone a while back and im wondering if i can - take the sim out, plug it in, upgrade to 2.0 and use it as an ipod without bricking it??

pretty worried what will happen to it so what should i do? just leave it for now and not upgrade it, or use some software to restore it to 1.1.4 then upgrade:confused::confused::confused:

had a 1.1.4 16gb iphone that i used ziphone on, used the unlock all feature in ziphone months back, i have a o2 contract but NOT iphone one and basically i ran the download installed 2.0 fine, went through the activation in itunes etc, by logging in using my email/password from itunes account and it come up 'activated iphone'. Then restored all contacts/music etc from back up file.

Working like a charm, as i say i am on a o2 contract but not iphone so so far so good .......
