Jailbroken phone and "Other" storage

OK, so I have a jailbroken 16GB iPhone 3G. The "Other" part of the memory usage chart in iTunes tells me that I have 701MB of used data. This used to be around 250-300MB for me. I'm not sure what could've changed this but it's kind of bugging me.

Anyone have any ideas or similar problems? Thanks.
