Jailbroken Phone/Update Carrier Settings

When I sync my phone, it asks to update carrier settings. Should I say "yes" even though I am JB?

I did and all that happened was it deleted my APN info... SO, yeah it's safe

It's won't affect the jailbreak/unlock at all. I'm on T-Mobile and never even got the update. 😛
