Ever since Jason Chen posted the pictures up on the new iPhone on April 22nd, there's been no word or tell of him.

He hasn't posted on Twitter since then, no new posts on Gizmodo from him since then, and for some reason his posts have been disabled from showing up.

Interesting - what do you think is goin' on?

I bet he was getting barraged with stupid garbage from everyone. So they disabled his account for now. Probably posting under one of the other editor's accounts.

His computers and iPhone were confiscated by the police. How is he suppost to write reports, or tweet if he has no computer, meaning no internet connected? The police still have custody of his belongings.

His employer would have sent out or had him purchase interim equipment. He's not totally offline, but most likely laying low at the advice of Gawker attorneys.

They are being sued by apple and they are counter-sueing apple

It would be stupid to continue to post anything
Like if the police came to arrest a man for attempted murder, and so instead of being silent he screams how much he hates the man he tried to kill blah blah

The silence is for legal reasons until the whole ordeal blows over

Good.
I never liked much of anything he had to say.
Giz has been dead to me since their live blog of the iPhone 3GS where chen was complaining during his coverage of the event. I ditched em right there. Terrible excuse for journalism. Luckily won't have to ever endure any of that again. The iPhone 4G ordeal strengthened my resolve nicely.

Can you link to/explain what you mean when you say Chen was complaining? Never really heard about that
