hi,
ive downloaded the security update (9)the java update (9)doesnt install(error in..)
ive tried few times..now nothing with java works..im using online software for share trading...i cant do nothing..if i check the java pref it tells me i need new java vers.ive tried applejack first stage it tells me disk need to be repaired but cant repair it....it came back from the shop for fixing..he upgraded to tiger and changed the harddrive,ive downloaded secur update 9 it got stuck..ive tried safe mode jack ,nothing...went back to the shop and got it back working...tried secu update again didnt let me(error)until 2 days ago..the java as ive said did not install..since then problems..quite frustrated with the mac..online crash all the time thats y ive tried the security update few times..firefox crush every 10 min in average..safari crash twice as much..
plz help im crippled..:)( :(

It is very difficult to read your post. However, Java is an integral part of MacOS X. You can't "lose" it. I have no idea what happened to you, but Java is still on your machine.
 
Sounds like you have file system damage. Your best course of action is going to be either reinstalling Mac OS X, or investing in a drive repair tool, such as DiskWarrior... and do a backup RIGHT NOW.
 
java disappeared means that if i open something like vuze it says u need java...
if i click on java preference it says no java,need to install new version..canot install the java update 9(error)all happaned after security update9 was install..
as u can read in my post it been already fixed twice..to much money for a junk like this mac,so im not going to buy new softwere for it..i cannot download it with the vuze because java doesnt work...tried demo ..nothing..if i need 2 put another $100,i chuck it to the bin and buy new pc laptop in $600..this mac is just problems,everytime i download some update(FROM APPLE)it stuff it..to much "broken pipes" and "mounting"problem...apple need a good plumber who knows how to f#*k;)
