    Hi,
I've recently bought a macbook pro late 2013 high end, been working fine, now i want to install Java for my developing softwares. However, when i try to install the package i downloaded from Java website i get an error : Installation fails which then asks me to contact the manufacturer etc.

I've already tried many methods that i found searching the internet but none of them seem to work.

If a console install log is necessary feel free to ask me.

    Thank you

Ugh - java... the most hated thing on the planet.

Ok look here's what you need to do. Push A, A, B, B, start, start, select, select, A,B,A,B, start and then you get unlimited lives. Then uninstall Java.

Mean while take your app and toss it in the garbage where java and the rest of the crap belongs. :D

ha come on that was funny!

Ok seriously though look for a way to do a clean uninstall of java.

    https://www.java.com/en/download/help/mac_uninstall_java.xml

    Then try again.
