R RUGERMAN macrumors 6502 Original poster Jun 12, 2010 251 38 Aug 22, 2011 #1 I can't get some stock charts to load on my MBP, however they load fine on my Imac and if I log on under my wifes name they also load OK. It appears that somtehing is interfering only in my section of the computer. Anyone have any ideas? HELP!

A akhbhaat macrumors regular Sep 30, 2010 127 0 Aug 22, 2011 #2 Are you using Lion? Apple doesn't include a Java runtime in Lion (though you should be prompted to download it if the machine needs it). That wouldn't explain why it works under the other account, though.

movieator macrumors 65816 Sep 17, 2009 1,399 1,065 LA, CA Aug 22, 2011 #3 If you do have 10.7 Lion, you need to download Jave for Lion from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421 Once it's installed, you need to open Java preferences and click on "Enable applet plug-in and webstart applications."
