I had trouble installing the Safari 4 beta a while back but ever since it had been working I have not been able to view java apps, I get the error:

"java is not installed or unavailable"

Any help would be much appreciated.

With the current state of Java for Mac OS X this is more of a feature than a bug. :p Have you tried reinstalling Java and double-checked to make sure that Java is enabled in Safari's preferences?
