Hy!

I just bought a mac last week and i just play to one game: Football Manager 07.

I tried to install it but the install assistant said to me that he can't found the Java Virtual Machine.

I have the new mac OS X 10.6.02 ...

Does it happened to anyone else? Someone can help me ?

PS: I'm sorry for my bad English, but I come from a French country so I can't speak English at well ...

Thank you very much.

Probably an installer problem . . .

I'm not much of a gamer, but some quick Googling found a similar
MacRumors post from October 2009. Seems like maybe the game's
installer has problems finding the right JRE/JVM. Do you have the most
current game version 7.02?

The only solution at that time was to contact the game maker.

For fun, go to Applications -> Utilities and run "Java Preferences" - see if
you have Java SE 6 installed.

Another thought: since this game is 3 years old (and maybe 32-bit), it may
not be all that compatible with your Snow Leopard environment. But this
still means you need to contact the game maker and find out what's wrong.

Hope this helps . . .

I've already tried swapping them around on java preferences.
The game works fine on the windows - so yeah, maybe it is that it doesn't work well with snow leopard.

I know that java is there because if I go onto terminal and type "java -version" then it comes up that java runtime environment is installed.

I updated my computer this morning, so it's up to date.

Ok - i'll contact the game company.
Thanks
