Javascript Problem??

Ive got a problem that is starting to drive me mad,and am finding it hard to resolve.
All of a sudden,online video streaming sites have stopped working, the Video is just not there and blank.(Although Youtube works fine) Also some click buttons on websites have stopped working to, when im trying to login to one email account it states "Enable javascript to login" But Javascript is enabled, ive checked. I have this problem in all browsers Safari,Fixfox,Crome. Im running OSX 10.8.5, Ive researched alot but am unable to find a fix.
Anyone got any ideas??

Hi, sorry for a really dull reply but did you try going to apple logo->software update and updating java? It worked on an iMac once for me.

Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?
