Apple TV JB ATV 2 with external HDD

Hi All,

Considering getting an Apple TV to replace the PC i have connected to my Tv which currently runs XBMC, if I jailbreak it can i connect an external HDD to the ATV2 USB port? Alternatively if thats not possible, can i point XBMC on ATV2 to a networked HDD (NAS).

The APple TV 2 cannot use a USB hard drive. It has a device UBS port, not a host. XBMC can use a network file share to stream media from.
