JB for 3.1.3?

whats the best method for JBing my old bootrom 3gs with 3.1.3 software besides spirit? I'm doing this so that I can do the same on iOS 4.0

I'm in the same situation as you and as far as I can tell we're out of luck

Unless you have your SHSHs for 3.1.2 or earlier, you won't be able to downgrade, and I think spirit is the only JB that works from a stock 3.1.3...and unfortunately you can't use the pwnage tool with it.

ACtually i used Redsn0w 9.4 on my Stock 3.1.3 and it worked just when you JBing Select the 3.1.2 Custom IPSW

But I don't have a 3.1.2 Custom IPSW...I never jailbroke when I was in 3.1.2.

Am I missing something.

ok thanks all I really need to do is unlock it to sell so i guess i dont really need 4.0. What would i then use to unlock it?

downgrade to what? Do you have your blobs saved for the firmware your trying to downgrade to? You need to edit your host file as well.
