Ok so I just bought a new phone about 2 weeks ago after mine breaking. I activated it and it updated and is at 3.1.3? (whatever the new one is). Is it still possible to jail break if I never have or am i out of luck?

I doubt they will release one for 3.1.3, though. Why waste an exploit..

Is it a 3G or 3GS ?

3G can be JB, 3GS cannot if it's new

You did ask about JB, not unlock. Some posters seem confused?
