I use OmniFocus on a daily basis. I use that app all the time; in fact, its the reason I got an iPod Touch...

I'm wondering if there is a Jailbroken method allowing me to more easily access this app.

What i'm thinking is...what if when I swipe to the left so I bring up the search screen, rather than a keyboard and search box popping up, what if it immediately brought up my most favorite assigned app?

I'd imagine something like this exists...?

Anything?

Well, I supposed one of the other method you can do is to move that app icon to the Dock icon bar at the bottom of the page. This way, you would be able to easily access the commonly used app without having to switch between screens as it would always be there at the bottom.

For that, you do not need to jailbreak the ipod touch.

Well I have it there already, I just assumed (naturally) that the JB community would have developed something catered towards my original thought.

I love activator,

for instance you can have Omnifocus launch whenever you shake your device, or press the status bar, etc.

I think that's one of the best options you have right now.

I definetly agree that Activator is the quickest way to access your favorite app. Say I wwanted Angry Birds to open when I shake my ipod. It can do that.
