JB with Mac, Sync with Windows?

So I'm eager to JB the new 3.1.2, but i'm unsure of how I should proceed. I've always JB/Synced with Windows but as of now it seems using PT on Mac is the best way. That being said, if I JB with PT on my MBP can I then plug back into my Windows PC and re-sync successfully?

Make the custom restore IPSW on the Mac, then drop it on a flash drive and transfer it to PC, then fire up iTunes.

Very straightforward as stated. Create ipsw on Mac, transfer to PC for restore with iTunes. Go for it!
