So I'm getting into making music, and I'm assuming this is a pretty good setup to connect to my 15" MBP. I just need to know the best way to connect everything... Cables, adaptors, whatever I may need, I just need to know the best way. Thanks in advance!

Depends a bit on what year your MBP is, if it still has USB-A then it's very straight-forward, USB A-to-B cable to the Scarlett, then 1/4" TRS cables to the speakers.

Sorry I didn't clarify this in the first post, but it's a late 2015 model, no USB-A...

Nice and easy, really. The Focusrite plugs into your USB port. It's bus powered so you shouldn't need to connect a power supply. You connect the JBLs to the Focusrite via a cable with 1/4" TS (Tip-Sleeve, aka mono) male plugs on both ends.

The system and all apps should see and be able to utilize the Focusrite right away.

You might want to turn the speakers on only after everything else is on and also turn them off before shutting down your system. This will help prevent any damage that could occur from pops that can occur from powering up or down the Focusrite.

Read your gear manuals to get to know what they can do.
