macOS JDBC connection issues

Hi all,

Im trying to create a alias that hits a program on a PC via JDBC. Additionally Ive been having significant issues getting OS 10.4 to talk to the server which is running Windows 2003 Server but for the moment Im not that concerned with that.

any suggestions?
 
Can you be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do?

Do you mean OS X file system alias or database object alias (or some other sort of alias)?

What sort of errors are you getting? What have you tried so far?
