the os seems to be fast when opening applications. but the mouse movement feels so jerky. is there anything wrong? im using macbook 1.8ghz and 1.2gb of ram.

i have tried putting my ram to 512 even 768 in parallels but the mouse still feels jerky and stuttering.

i have heard everyone saying that running windows xp in parallels is almost native. but almost native means no stuttering mouse right?

I had this problem too, if you go into the VM menu and select 'install parallels tools' then it will stop the jerkiness and give you other cool tools as-well.
Hope this helps.

Be sure that your Windows guest is open and running when you do this.

wohoo. glad i asked about this problem in this forum. i thought the jerky mouse movement was a normal thing with emulation.

anyway thanks for helping me. the mouse feels normal now.
