I can’t watch these tear up videos. But I will say we are careful with our stuff for the most part and they go the distance.

"Exact same processor"?

I'm not a tech reviewer but isn't there a difference in the GPU count?
If you're doing a tech review then surely you should be capturing technical differences.

This is very promising for our organization.
We are ordering 1000 base Neos.

We are an Apple certified GSX repair center and we used to order replacement parts in advance and ship back the defective/damaged part.

Lately we haven't been able to do much board/component work due to everything being fixed permanently, difficult to disasssemble, and it was easier to ship back the entire unit to Apple.

Neos being so easy to take apart will be easy for us to do in house repair/warranty work !

Big time saver!

Can't help saying, it should be Jury Rig you know?
Jerry rigged was a mispronunciation of that.

I can't watch either. Paying 599 just to tear it down... If you need better then get an air or pro.

I really don't see any real use for such videos. All he does is destroy products for revenue clicks.
And yet he has nearly 10 million followers.

I don't hear people complaining about the tear downs from ifixit? I also think there is value in his videos, for instance, when he tears down a phone, he tests how scratch resistant the screens are. He compares what apple/samsung/google claims the screens, components used or the battery to what he physically sees. When he did the iPhone 17 pro, he showed some of the weaknesses to the design and how the finish will chip off.

I found it unnecessary that he scratched the case, but then at the end of video he was hawking and promoting the dbrand skin - so there seemed to be a method to his madness.

I think it was useful for him to compare the iphone logic board and the neo's and showed how they're using the components, the cooling and the layout.

People actually enjoy destructions, they don't watch car races to see who wins, they get entertained by the crashes.

What I really appreciate about Zack's videos is the absolute rejection of the idea that the technology we grasp is the very last item to-be-had on Earth.

The adroit ability to blithely violate the inviolable thus becomes Art in (and of) itself 😉
