Jet black in clear case??

Easily the best clear case out there, although them using the same case for the 6S as they did for the 6 pissed me off (dimensions were slightly different so the accuracy of the cutouts was slightly off).

The Air Jacket for the 7 should be out mid-October. If I didn't plan on going naked I'd have no hesitation buying one.

Not sure I like that look, and if you're gonna cover up the jet black with an opaque case, what's the point in getting the jet black?

Amen. Always have been the best IMO, and their crystal films are second to none (though the curved screen on my 6 found me having to go elsewhere for screen protection). I had their Air Jacket on my space gray 6 and it was perfect, albeit a bit tough to remove the first several times.

Not sure how anyone can say clear cases are ugly? I just went to an SE and literally put my new Air Jacket/crystal film on (the Air Jacket version from their website, not from the Apple store) about 20 minutes ago, as usual it's spot on perfect. Polycarbonate, none of that cheap yellowing TPU trash.

Looks great IMO.

While I've never had an Air Jacket scratch any of my phones at all, I can't help but think it would be almost impossible not to scratch a Jet Black 7 taking it on and off. Would look great though if it didn't.

Does the hard plastic back touch the back of the phone? Seems like that would scratch the phone up if so.

Reading the description, they make it sound like the phone is "suspended" inside via a bumper type of case. Hard plastic on black polished anodize is going to cause mad scratches.

I see what you're saying. Well, I obviously don't have a 7 on hand w/ me (nor do I have a 6 Plus to test that out), but it seems like the back is going to be touching the case. Personally, I'm upgrading to the 8 next year after a year of the 7 Plus (iPhone upgrade program), so I could care less about the scratches.

For the SE? No, not the version I have, though the Apple store version may - that was the case for the two versions they made for the 6, though I heard they put a tiny lip on the non lip version not long ago.

Thanks gonna keep an eye out for the Apple version as I just read that version has the lip. Hope they can hurry up and release it

I've already ordered and received a Spigen clear case for the iPhone 7 Plus that I'm ordering tonight. Thinking about the jet black (if available), but I'm trying to visualize how it would look inside a clear case. I know the lighter colors (gold, silver) would look fine, but not sure about the jet black. It's glossy, and so is the case. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I've gone with the Orzly Fusion Bumper (they have a 50% off sale right now!)
