I have seen the iphone 8 in stores.. The colors didnt pop like the jet black color in iphone 7. There is something classy and bright and Super-Black in jet black color.. :D

The space grey didnt look good in person, neither the goldish-offwhitish color.. Only White looked better.. in 8. The other iphone which was out of the league was iphone-4 white color :D

What do you guys think ??

I think jet black is the “best,” but it’s kind of inpractical and yes I’ve owned it for over a year.

The reason I say impractical is because it looks great, but if you use it without a case it won’t look great too long.

I think a jet black 8 Plus where the finish was under the glass would’ve been something.

Exactly.. I thought i would like the space grey on iphone 8 but it looks completely pale in comparison to jet black. It is the worst color in iphone 8.

I think the scratches on jet black are more visible in direct light ? is it right ?

I know jet black scratches.. like crazy.. but you gotta do what you gotta do  ( I am currently using a gifted MattBlack iPhone 7)

I really would like to own the iPhone X but I have the iPhone 7 256GB 'Jet Black' and it's difficult to give up. I'm hoping down the road Apple will produce a iPhone X in Jet Black and maybe a finger print sensor under the glass.

I respectfully disagree. I think the Space Gray looks amazing.

Used mine without a case for a full year, do not care about the scratches on it at all.

The jet black finish has the same grip advantage as glass over Apple’s standard aluminum finish, except unlike the iP8 it’s also:
-highly resistant to drop impacts.
-less slippery on the sides, where the 8 still uses the slick, normal aluminum finish (the X has polished stainless steel here which should be similar to the JB)

By far my favorite iPhone simply because of how much better it is to use caseless.

Same here, well almost. I‘m probably going to buy a (silver) X because I want that dual camera in the compact body, but it will definitely be tough to sell the jet black 7 because I just love the look and feel of it.

I'm on the AT&T Next 24 and I can if I choose to return my iPhone 7 and upgrade to the iPhone X and continue with the new payment as I'm due on October 10th, 2017. It's a tough decision, I could continue to make payments for another year which means I can keep the phone then switch and have the jet black as a backup.

I‘m tempted to keep the 7 as a backup as well, but OTOH I have never been in a situation where I would have needed a backup phone (all my iPhones have been super reliable) so it would probably just be sitting in a drawer all the time.

All mine as well. I am choosing not to upgrade the iOS on any of my devices including Apple desktops, or their laptops as it may run well but it slows it down a little. Plus I do not use hardware intensive applications to warrant the upgrade really. I'm happy with iOS 10.

Do you know or recall a time where if you buy an iPhone that you needed to upgrade the Apple OS in order for your iOS to work properly together?

Loved my jet black 7 which I recently sold for an 8+ space grey. I put protection film on the back and glass on the front and my jet black 7 was pristine despite months of use. I'm debating whether I should put a film on the glass back of the 8+.

I do think it's the best ever right out of the box, but it doesn't hold up the best. The space gray of the 8 is nice... IMO it's actually closer to the matte black 7 (which is what I have) than the earlier space gray models.

That's why I'm staying with my 7 Plus as my last iPhone for now. The jet black is still gorgeous and it reminded me of that shiny and nice feel my 5c had.

I saw the 8/8+ in the Apple store and I just don't think I'm a big fan of the glass. It's just as big of a fingerprint magnet and looks a bit strange. Not sure why it looks strange to me but it just looks like it doesn't mesh together right.

The jet black was nice, I do think the space gray on the 8 looks more black then grey and is nice as well. However, I sold my jet black back in April to get the product red iPhone 7 Plus and I think that the red iPhone has been my favorite iPhone color of all time thus far.

It's like I signed in under another name.

Guess a "+1" will have to suffice.

I think the jet black is nice for a split second...then you sneeze and the scratches appear.
