I really love the Jet Black finish on my 7 Plus as well. I’ve had it a year now in an Apple silicon case and haven’t had any issues with scratches. Rarely used without a case and was super careful with it when I did. The finish is much more durable than I thought it was going to be.

When I went hands on with the new iPhone 8’s I kept getting goosebumps feeling the smooth glass back and rougher aluminum sides. Kinda similar to nails rubbed on a chalkboard. I don’t know if it’s because I have a Jet Black phone and have already gotten used to a smooth feel throughout. Regardless, I didn’t like the feel of the 8’s and I’m just not a fan of the Smokey grey color now.

Needless to say, I’m considering a Silver X as it still retains the black bezel front.

Jetblack is my favorite color that Apple has ever done. It looks amazing, and it’s the reason I am having such a hard time deciding whether to get the iPhone X or not. I feel like it will become like the iPhone 5 in black. A color they will never bring back. I don’t care what anyone says, the space grey on the new iPhone is nothing compared to the JB. It falls short on every level. The only thing I like space grey on is the MacBook Pro.

I have seen the iphone 8 in stores.. The colors didnt pop like the jet black color in iphone 7. There is something classy and bright and Super-Black in jet black color..

The space grey didnt look good in person, neither the goldish-offwhitish color.. Only White looked better.. in 8. The other iphone which was out of the league was iphone-4 white color

Jet black was the best color for iPhone 7 generation until Product Red was released. Red is the best color. It is beautiful, eye catching and attention getter. Jet Black or regular black or space grey is second best as it is classy. But beautiful, eye catching and attention getter still prevail.

May be the most “limited” color too, Apple sold it for 6 months and just like Keyser Söse, puff it’s gone.
