iPad mini Jisoncase Leather Smart Case: Magnetic Cover?

For Jisoncase Smart Case owners:

I know the case has the magnetic cover for thr sleep/wake function, but when the cover is open and pressed against the back of the case, is it magnetic then so that the ipad mini can be used with one hand without the cover flopping down? The apple smart case is great, but because it lacks this functionality, it's unusable for me. Would love to try the Jisoncase.

I had a Jisoncase for my iPad 2 and it wasn't magnetic in the back. They may have changed since then but that was my experience. I loved the case regardless.
