At 70 my hand/fingers are getting jittery. I'll accidentally tap my Mac's (Mini, MacBook, Ultra) trackpad. It's VERY frustrating. Any recommendations for settings or better trackpads?

Thanks!

A few years ago I was getting tremors in my fingers and hands. My doctor prescribed a very low dose of primidone. It worked like magic!

If you have Tap to click enabled, simply disabling the feature would be an obvious thing to try.

 --> System Settings --> Trackpad --> Tap to click

You would then need to physically depress your trackpad with some force, rather than simply tapping it, to perform a click. Takes some getting used to.
